Licensing

Licensed activity in Georgia, from scoping to the licence.

Georgia licenses or registers gambling, payments, virtual assets, microfinance, lending, banking, brokerage and insurance through three regulators. We tell you which regime your product falls under, what the regulator will ask for, and what it costs, in writing, before any fee is paid.

The categories

Gambling

Revenue Service of Georgia (permits) and the technical body for certification

Online gambling (iGaming) permit

Online casino, live casino, slots, betting and game supply under Georgia's gambling law; one permit, one brand, one domain, five years.

Operators and B2B game suppliers who want a supervised home with a real regulator behind the permit.

Scoped on request: the written proposal states the regime, the file, the timeline and the fees in force.

How every licence starts

  1. 1

    Scoping

A short questionnaire and a call. We map your product to the regime, name the regulator and the legal basis, and list what the file needs.

  2. 2

    Written proposal

The route, a realistic timeline, and the fee split between government, technical and professional charges. Nothing is paid before you have it.

  3. 3

    The file and the filing

Company, bank, ownership and fit-and-proper evidence, policies and the technical description, filed and defended before the regulator until the decision.

  4. 4

    After the licence

Reporting calendar, AML programme, changes of ownership and product notified on time, on a retainer or handed to your team.

What a Georgian licence is not

It authorises the activity under Georgian law and gives you a supervised home. It does not make you lawful in a client's country: market access is decided where the client is, for every licence in the world. We say this before you build anything.
