Company registration in Tbilisi
Register your company in Tbilisi: in person at the Public Service Hall, or from abroad through our office
Every Georgian company is registered by the National Agency of Public Registry, and a founder who is in Tbilisi signs the application at the Public Service Hall. If you are in Tbilisi, you sign there with us and the LLC is registered in about one business day, with no notary, apostille or courier needed. If you are not, our office on Rustaveli Avenue files for you under a power of attorney. The service fee is the same either way, and every line is shown before you pay.
This route fits you if
- You are in Tbilisi, or can be here for a day or two.
- You would rather sign in person than arrange a notary, an apostille and a courier at home.
- You want to meet the lawyer who reviews your file before anything is filed.
- You want the company's registered address in central Tbilisi.
- You plan a bank meeting or a residence application on the same trip.
Take another route if
- You cannot travel to Georgia. The same company is registered under a power of attorney, without a visit. Register remotely
- You will work alone and bill in your own name: the 1% regime for individual entrepreneurs may fit better. See the 1% route
- You need a gambling, payment or crypto licence: licensing is a separate matter with its own fee. See licensing

- 1
Apply online, or come to the office
Fill in the application in about ten minutes, or meet us on Rustaveli Avenue. A lawyer confirms the entity, the tax status and the documents before anything is filed.
- 2
Your documents are prepared and reviewed
The charter in Georgian and English, the founder's resolution and the registry application, checked by a Georgian advocate.
- 3
You sign at the Public Service Hall
We book the appointment and come with you. The registry officer checks your passport and witnesses your signature, which is why no notary is needed.
- 4
The company is registered
Typically in one business day on the standard track, or the same day on the expedited track. The extract and the company's identification number go to your portal.
- 5
Tax registration and the rest of the trip
Revenue Service registration and portal access follow. If you planned a bank meeting while you are here, we prepare the file; the bank makes its own decision.
What you bring
- Your passport, the original, on the day you sign
- Two options for the company name
- A registered address in Georgia: yours, with the owner's consent, or the Trustlex address
- Shareholding and director details
A company as a founder brings a registry extract from its home country, apostilled and translated. We tell you exactly what before you travel.
Questions about registering in Tbilisi
Can I register a company in Tbilisi in one day?
On the expedited track the Public Registry registers the company the same day, for a GEL 400 state fee. On the standard track, GEL 200, it takes about one business day. The documents are prepared and reviewed first, usually within a day or two of receiving your details.
Do I have to be in Tbilisi?
No. The same company can be registered under a notarised, apostilled power of attorney while you stay at home. Signing in person only saves the Georgian notary and the identity check, and your own notary, apostille and courier at home.
Where is your office?
Shota Rustaveli Avenue 18, entrance 2, floor 4, office 12, Tbilisi 0105. Meetings are by appointment, in English, Russian or Georgian.
Does my company need an address in Tbilisi?
It needs a registered address in Georgia that the Public Registry and the Revenue Service hold on record. Most foreign-owned companies use Tbilisi. Ours is €120 a year for the address alone, or €240 a year with mail scanning.
Can I open a bank account on the same trip?
Often a founder can meet the bank on the same trip, which is one reason to register in person. The bank still makes its own compliance decision; no provider can guarantee an account.
Which language are the documents in?
The registry works in Georgian. The charter is prepared in Georgian and English, and everything you sign is explained to you in English or Russian first.
