How documents are drafted and reviewed

Every document Trustlex files starts from a template that a Georgian-qualified lawyer maintains: the charter, the founders' decision, the Power of Attorney for remote founders and the registry application itself. Your application fills the template with the facts you give us, and a lawyer reads the draft before anything is signed or filed. The review checks the ownership chain against the passports and corporate extracts, the spelling of names against the certified translation, the activity description against licensing rules, and the Power of Attorney against what the registry accepts from your country.

Nothing is filed automatically. The Help Me Choose recommendation, the name screen and the tax-status indication on this site are preliminary outputs; a lawyer confirms the route at review, and the confirmed document set appears in your client portal before we submit it. Where a case needs more than the standard route, for example a corporate founder, a regulated activity or a special tax status, we say so and scope the extra work before you pay for it.

Where your data lives and who can see it

Trustlex is the controller for the personal data you give us and processes it under the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU GDPR. Data is encrypted in transit. Uploaded documents are stored with private, non-guessable access paths and are served only to the authenticated client who owns the matter or to authorised staff; uploads are validated by file type and size before acceptance.

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, sessions are cryptographically signed, and staff access is role-restricted on a need-to-know basis. Sensitive actions, such as viewing, approving, rejecting or replacing a document and every status change, are written to an audit log, and the case history in your portal shows the same timeline.

We share data only with the people working on your matter: Georgian-qualified lawyers, notaries and certified translators; couriers for original documents; banks and payment providers where you ask for that support; the Public Registry and the Revenue Service for your filings; and our infrastructure providers, acting under contract. We do not sell personal data or pass it to advertisers. Retention periods and your rights, including access, correction and erasure, are set out in the Privacy Policy.

Fees and the price list

Every proposal separates the Trustlex professional fee from disbursements. The Public Registry fee, the notary and certified translation, the courier of original documents and identity verification each sit on their own line, and government and third-party costs are passed through at cost.

The figures come from the published Trustlex price list, version 2026-10-14.1. The same list drives the public calculator, the fee breakdown inside the application and the invoice, so what you see on the packages page is what you are charged. Nothing is charged until you approve the itemised total, and a change in scope produces a revised proposal before any additional work starts.

If a filing is rejected

Decisions reserved to authorities and third parties, such as name approval, tax-status grants and bank onboarding, are never guaranteed, and we do not promise that a bank will open an account. Where a specific filing is rejected by an authority despite correct preparation, we re-file once at no additional professional fee.

If registration cannot be completed for reasons not attributable to you, for example a change in registry practice or an error on our side, you choose between a free re-filing or correction and a refund of the professional fee for the formation service in full, less only third-party disbursements already incurred and unrecoverable. If a filing fails because the information or documents you provided were inaccurate or incomplete, or because the notarised Power of Attorney never arrives, the stage-based schedule in the Refund and Cancellation Policy applies instead. Every case carries a timestamped history in the portal, so the stage reached is a matter of record.

How to verify Trustlex

Start with the client reviews, then read the three documents that bind us before you pay: the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Each states its version and effective date, and the English text governs. The company details and contact channels are in the footer of every page. If a payment request does not match the proposal in your client portal, check with us through your case before paying. Trustlex is an independent professional-services platform, not a public registry, bank, tax authority or government body.
